How it works

1. A user dials the shortcode (*483*44#) on his/her GSM enabled phone

2. A unique USSD session is established and send to a SMSGH USSD gateway

3. SMSGH USSD gateway creates a HTTP request which is sent to the USSD platform that RootKenya Softwares would have created for you.

4. Your USSD application replies with a HTTP response which is converted to understandable format and sent back to user/operator.

5. The mobile network delivers the message to the user via the handset.
